About the Power Wheelchair
The Vive Power Wheelchair is a foldable electric wheelchair for everyday activities and travel. It folds down in seconds for transport and storage, and Vive says it fits in standard vehicle trunks. With the battery included it weighs 59 lbs.
Front shock absorbers help it over grass, gravel, pavement, carpets and indoor floors, and there are 6 inches of ground clearance underneath. Vive notes it is not suitable for use in inclement weather.
You steer with a 360-degree joystick that has a battery charge indicator, a built-in horn and adjustable speed settings. The controller attaches to either armrest, and the lithium battery charges onboard through the joystick port with the included 3-pin cable. If the battery runs out while you are away from home, the chair can be put in manual mode by turning the levers behind each rear wheel, so a helper can push it.
The seat uses breathable fabric over thick foam padding, with an adjustable safety belt, and sits 19.7 inches from the ground. Armrests, footrests and seat back height adjust to fit your body. The frame is aluminum.

Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
