The ComfyGO Majestic IQ-8000 power wheelchair is a travel-friendly chair designed for everyday use, and it folds by hand into a compact package: 23.5" x 15" x 30" by ComfyGO's manual. This is the 17.5-inch seat version; a wider 20-inch seat is sold as the IQ-8000 PLUS.

About the ComfyGO Majestic IQ-8000 Power Wheelchair

Here is how it drives. Two 250W motors work independently and climb angles up to 6 degrees, the chair rolls on solid tires (12" rear, 8" front), and ComfyGO says it can traverse low grass and compacted dirt. Five speed settings top out at a limited 4 mph, and electromagnetic brakes are built into the motors. Adjustable anti-tip bars add stability on uneven ground and inclines.

The 12AH lithium-ion battery delivers up to 13 miles; the optional 20AH battery stretches that to up to 19 miles. Each charges in the chair or separately from a regular home outlet in 6 to 8 hours, and the 24V 2A charger comes in the box.

For the rider there is a memory foam cushion with cooling gel inserts, armrests that raise, an under-seat storage bag and a weather resistant 360-degree joystick that can sit on the right or the left. A caregiver can take over with the hands free, Bluetooth remote control, which works at distances up to 30 feet. The non-reclining IQ-8000 supports a maximum weight of 330 lbs.
