About the Hi-Riser changing bench

Despite a heavy-duty weight capacity, it keeps a slimline, space-saving design. The table travels from 15.7 to 39.4 in, which Smirthwaite says gives caregivers safe, ergonomic transfer heights. Smirthwaite gives a maximum user weight of 441 lb.

Frames come powder coated for dry rooms or in stainless steel for bathrooms, and the padded surfaces are easy to clean. Table lengths run from 47.2 in to 82.7 in, so there is a size for young children through to adults. The bench arrives fully assembled; the safety side, bed, wall frame and handset come in a single box, and the wall mounting kit is included. Drywall and stud walls need an additional backing board, bought separately.

Delivered with a lift gate. Orders that include Smirthwaite products carry a $175 lift-gate charge, added at checkout. It is a lift-gate charge, not a shipping cost, and it applies whatever the order total. Ships within the lower 48 (the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC).

Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.

Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.

Do you service what you sell?

Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
