About the Harmar AL825CC Crew Cab 225 HD
For a heavier manual wheelchair, powerchair or scooter and a crew cab pickup, the Harmar AL825CC carries up to 225 lb. Its sister model, the AL815CC, is twice as fast but carries up to 135 lb, so the AL825CC is the one to look at when capacity matters more than speed.
The long arm is designed specifically for crew cab trucks. Depending on which side the lift goes, it hoists the device and sets it close to the driver or passenger side door. Harmar lists an installed weight of 121 lb, an arm height of 34 to 41 inches and an adjustable length of 49.25 to 67 inches.
Two powered motions, lifting and rotation, are run from the remote hand control, and the package includes an in-cab remote control extension and a universal base adapter. Securement is by a docking device, which is not included. Battery pack, custom adapters and wireless remote are on the options list.
In Georgia, vehicle lifts are installed by Custom Mobility's own technicians, and service stays in Georgia after the job. Ask us which crew cab model fits your truck and your device.

How The Work Happens
Five steps. You can stop at any of them, and nothing is charged until you have said yes to a written scope.
You tell us what is difficult
Not what product you think you need. The stairs, the front step, the bath, getting into the car. Working out the product is our job.
A call, not a sales pitchWe come out and measure
On site, at your address, free. We check the space, the power, and the structure, and we talk through how the room actually gets used.
Free, and no obligationYou get it in writing
An itemized scope and a price, with the lead time stated honestly. The price you agree to is the price of the job. Take as long as you like with it.
The price does not moveOur technicians install it
Our own people, not a subcontractor, who stay until everyone who has to operate it can operate it confidently.
Our own crewsWe service it afterward
The company that installed it is the company that maintains it. You are not handed to somebody else once the invoice clears.

Common questions
Will this work with my vehicle?
That depends on the vehicle and the equipment. We check compatibility before you order anything, which is exactly the step that goes wrong when it is skipped.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do I have to buy a van?
Usually not, and most people assume they do. Hand controls, a lift, or a turning seat solve a great many situations for a fraction of a conversion. Ask before you go vehicle shopping.
Will this affect my vehicle warranty?
Properly fitted equipment from established manufacturers does not generally affect it, though we would not ask you to take our word over your dealer's. We will tell you exactly what we are fitting and how.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
