Crew cab trucks need extra reach, and the Harmar AL815CC is built for them: it is designed specifically for crew cab trucks and has a longer arm for crew cabs. It hoists and loads a manual wheelchair, powerchair or scooter weighing up to 135 lb close to the driver or passenger side door, depending on where the lift is installed.

About the Harmar AL815CC Crew Cab Hoist Lift (135 lb)

Speed sets this model apart: Harmar states the AL815CC is twice the speed of its sister model, the AL825CC, which carries up to 225 lb instead. If your device is light enough, the AL815CC gets it loaded faster.

Lifting and rotation are powered, and there are only two motors to control from the remote hand control. An in-cab remote control extension is included, along with a universal base adapter. The docking device that secures the mobility device is not included; a battery pack, custom adapters and a wireless remote are optional.

Will this work with my vehicle?

That depends on the vehicle and the equipment. We check compatibility before you order anything, which is exactly the step that goes wrong when it is skipped.

Will it fit in my car?

Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.

Do I have to buy a van?

Usually not, and most people assume they do. Hand controls, a lift, or a turning seat solve a great many situations for a fraction of a conversion. Ask before you go vehicle shopping.

Will this affect my vehicle warranty?

Properly fitted equipment from established manufacturers does not generally affect it, though we would not ask you to take our word over your dealer's. We will tell you exactly what we are fitting and how.
