About the Harmar AL301XL Extra Large Fusion Lift
For larger scooters and powerchairs, the Harmar AL301XL Fusion Hitch-Mount Lift steps up to an extra large 36 by 39 inch aluminum deck. The AL301XL is rated for 350 lb.
Adjustable wheel cradles and self-tensioning Q'Straint retractors keep a larger mobility device safe and secure on the road. There are four retractors, front and rear wheel cradles, and a cradle that extends up to 53 inches. Larger power scooters and power chairs ride with no modifications required. Lifting and folding are fully powered.
Harmar lists the installed weight at 100 lb, and a Class III hitch adapter comes standard along with the AL107 hitch post and a license plate mount. It is compatible with minivans, SUVs, trucks and vans. Options include a battery pack, cover, license plate riser and swing-away.

Common questions
Will this work with my vehicle?
That depends on the vehicle and the equipment. We check compatibility before you order anything, which is exactly the step that goes wrong when it is skipped.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do I have to buy a van?
Usually not, and most people assume they do. Hand controls, a lift, or a turning seat solve a great many situations for a fraction of a conversion. Ask before you go vehicle shopping.
Will this affect my vehicle warranty?
Properly fitted equipment from established manufacturers does not generally affect it, though we would not ask you to take our word over your dealer's. We will tell you exactly what we are fitting and how.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
