About the Harmar AL300HD Heavy-duty Fusion Lift

Four self-tensioning Q'Straint retractors and a rear wheel cradle hold the device down. Harmar says it carries virtually all scooters and power chairs, with no modifications to either. Raising and folding the lift are both fully powered.

The HD calls for a Class III or greater hitch and ships with the AL123HD class III heavy duty hitch adapter, the AL107 hitch post and a license plate mount. On a 26 by 39 inch platform, the adjustable cradle reaches up to 46 inches, and the lift weighs 82 lb installed. It is compatible with minivans, SUVs, trucks and vans. Add-ons include a battery pack, cover, license plate riser and swing-away.

Common questions

Will this work with my vehicle?

That depends on the vehicle and the equipment. We check compatibility before you order anything, which is exactly the step that goes wrong when it is skipped.

Will it fit in my car?

Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.

Do I have to buy a van?

Usually not, and most people assume they do. Hand controls, a lift, or a turning seat solve a great many situations for a fraction of a conversion. Ask before you go vehicle shopping.

Will this affect my vehicle warranty?

Properly fitted equipment from established manufacturers does not generally affect it, though we would not ask you to take our word over your dealer's. We will tell you exactly what we are fitting and how.

Do you service what you sell?

Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
