About the Harmar AL003 Manual Lift
If the only thing you need to carry is a folding manual wheelchair, the Harmar AL003 Tilt-N-Tote keeps things simple. Harmar built this compact hitch-mount lift for manual wheelchairs up to 100 lbs, carried on the outside of the vehicle. That leaves the cargo space in your vehicle untouched.
A tilting joint makes rolling the chair on easier, and an adjustable hold-down arm with a wheel cradle keeps it in place. The lift is fully manual, weighs 25 lb installed and has a 14 by 30 inch platform. It folds up when not in use and folds down to give access to the tailgate or lift gate.
Harmar lists it as compatible with most sedans, minivans, SUVs, vans and trucks on a Class I or greater hitch, and a ball mount is included. No wheelchair modifications are necessary.
We confirm the fit for your vehicle and device. Our own technicians install the AL003 in Georgia and service it here.

How The Work Happens
Five steps. You can stop at any of them, and nothing is charged until you have said yes to a written scope.
You tell us what is difficult
Not what product you think you need. The stairs, the front step, the bath, getting into the car. Working out the product is our job.
A call, not a sales pitchWe come out and measure
On site, at your address, free. We check the space, the power, and the structure, and we talk through how the room actually gets used.
Free, and no obligationYou get it in writing
An itemized scope and a price, with the lead time stated honestly. The price you agree to is the price of the job. Take as long as you like with it.
The price does not moveOur technicians install it
Our own people, not a subcontractor, who stay until everyone who has to operate it can operate it confidently.
Our own crewsWe service it afterward
The company that installed it is the company that maintains it. You are not handed to somebody else once the invoice clears.

Common questions
Will this work with my vehicle?
That depends on the vehicle and the equipment. We check compatibility before you order anything, which is exactly the step that goes wrong when it is skipped.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do I have to buy a van?
Usually not, and most people assume they do. Hand controls, a lift, or a turning seat solve a great many situations for a fraction of a conversion. Ask before you go vehicle shopping.
Will this affect my vehicle warranty?
Properly fitted equipment from established manufacturers does not generally affect it, though we would not ask you to take our word over your dealer's. We will tell you exactly what we are fitting and how.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
