ComfyGO X-1 SE Manual Wheelchair

Not every trip calls for a power chair. The ComfyGO X-1 SE manual wheelchair is the Special Edition of ComfyGO's X-1 chair: a foldable travel wheelchair that weighs 32.5 lbs and has quick-detach wheels, so it comes apart for storage or transportation.

ComfyGO builds the X-1 with aircraft-grade aluminum alloy wheels and frame and rates it to accommodate a 300 lbs load. It has breathable cushions and backrests, which ComfyGO says keep you comfortable during long periods of use.

Here is how stopping works. A side brake system lets the rider control and stop the wheelchair independently, and hand brakes let a caregiver pushing from behind control and stop it when needed. Both armrests raise, which makes side transfers easier and lets you roll in closer to a table.

Outdoors, ComfyGO says the X-1 can traverse low grass and compacted dirt. It arrives almost fully assembled, with a tool set and the user manual in the box for attaching the remaining parts.
