Steel frame, folding back, two widths. The Proactive Astra Steel Transport Chair keeps things simple for the person doing the pushing.

Its back folds down flat and compact on a back-release hinge, and nylon seat straps help with folding and lifting it. The 17 in model weighs 26.5 lbs and the 19 in model 28.5 lbs; both hold 250 lbs. Seat depth is 16 in, and seat and back height are both 19 in.

Included with every chair: a seat belt and tool-free swing-away composite footrests with heel loops. The armrests are padded and full length, the 8 in wheels have solid rubber tires, and the rear wheel locks push to lock. Proactive offers a limited 3 year warranty.
