About the ComfyGO Glide Care G-5 Power Wheelchair

Folded, the G-5 measures 29.5" x 22" x 12", and ComfyGO says its compact folding design makes travel and storage a snap. Open, it is 36" x 22" x 37", with a seat 19" from the ground and a 17.5" x 16.9" cushion. It has adjustable armrests and a seat belt, and the standard G5 is rated for users up to 265 lbs.

Both versions reach up to 4 mph and stop with an intelligent electromagnetic brake. A 24V 10AH lithium-ion battery gives the standard G5 up to 10 miles, while the G5 PRO goes up to 13 miles on the same 10AH size. Charging takes 4 to 8 hours. The rear wheels are 11" and the front wheels 7", and ComfyGO lists a maximum climbing angle of 10°, with 9° as the steepest slope it recommends for daily use.

The PRO adds brushless motors and a digital joystick with an LCD display, USB charging port and integrated headlight, plus a Bluetooth-enabled, hands-free remote control that lets a caregiver drive the chair. The standard G5 steers with a 360-degree joystick and runs on 2 × 250W motors.
