About the Wooden Transfer Board
Sliding from a wheelchair to a bed or car seat is often safer and easier than lifting. Vive's transfer board gives a smooth, sealed wooden path for that slide, with tapered ends that tuck under the person and the seat.
Two handholds are cut into the board for leverage, and each is rounded and sealed to protect hands and clothing. Three sizes: the 24 inch, the 30 inch rated to 440 lbs, and the 36 by 11.5 inch rated to 800 lbs. To use it, place at least a third on each surface, support your weight on the board and move slowly from one end to the other. Wipe with a dry cloth and keep it dry.

Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
