About the Star Size-2
Smirthwaite's current product page calls this vertical and prone stander the Sta, and its US standing catalog also uses the name Star. It is designed to make standing practical and enjoyable for a child while keeping it simple to achieve. Smirthwaite presents the Sta as an accessible entry-level standing system.
Anterior pelvic and knee supports adjust in height, width and angle to maintain midline alignment. The frame can be angled with the child in place, and the integrated tray angles with it, so playing, eating or working can carry on without interruption. Cushioned chest, hip and leg supports add padding for longer, more comfortable standing sessions. Smirthwaite also notes that standing at eye level encourages social interaction with family and peers.
Smirthwaite's online size guide covers size 1; this listing is size 2 (Smirthwaite code 21033), so please ask us for its measurements before you order. Custom Mobility ships it across the lower 48. Smirthwaite warrants it against defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the date of delivery.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
