What sets it apart is an additional height setting for taller or faster-growing children, which Smirthwaite says gives an age suitability range of about 4 to 12 years. The base frame measures 31.5 x 24.6 x 39.1 in at its lower setting and 31.5 x 24.6 x 43.8 in at the higher one. Thoracic support height above the foot board spans 27.6 to 37.0 in.

Height and width adjust at the chest and pelvic bands, angle adjusts at the knee supports and sandals, and the tray lifts off when it is not needed. Being slimline, it can be used in schools, and Smirthwaite says its color and friendly character brighten up any room. Tray, chest band, pelvic band, knee supports and sandals all come with it, and the stander is supplied fully assembled.
