About the Stand Assist Handle
Helping someone stand often means awkward tugging on their arms. This handle gives both of you a shared grip instead, with the caregiver on one side and the person rising on the other.
It is 14.75 in long, contoured for leverage and textured so hands do not slip. The composite body holds up to 250 pounds and wipes clean.
Keep one in the car to help with getting out of a vehicle. It is meant for people who can grasp it and stand on their own, not for lifting from a lying position.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
