About the Lightweight Transport Wheelchair
For appointments, errands or a family visit, a transport chair is easy to lift into a trunk and push. Vive's version weighs 23 pounds and folds down for storage.
Out of the box, there is nothing to put together. The blue steel frame supports up to 300 pounds, and the 18 by 16 in seat has padded arms.
For the person pushing, the hand brakes fold away when not needed. For the rider, the footrests adjust and the footplates fold. Rear wheels are 8 in and front wheels 6 in.

Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
