About the EZ-ACCESS SUITCASE Singlefold AS Ramp
Two lighter pieces or one whole ramp: EZ-ACCESS made this one to be used either way. It folds once, and with its two hinge pins removed it becomes two separate sections for carrying or storing.
The deck is aluminum topped with the black applied surface EZ-ACCESS calls AS, a textured finish for slip resistance. Choose 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 ft. Every length is 29.5 in wide in use and rated for 800 lbs. On the 4 ft, each section weighs 10 lbs; on the 5 ft, 13 lbs. Clevis pins or screws through pre-drilled holes at the top hold the ramp to the supporting surface.
EZ-ACCESS lists the 4 ft for curbs and 1-2 steps, and the 6 ft for 1-3 steps and some minivans and SUVs. Check the owner guide for how steep a ramp your device can use.

Common questions
How long does a ramp take?
A modular ramp is typically installed in a day. Permanent construction takes longer and may need a permit.
Will a ramp fit my entrance?
ADA guidance is twelve inches of run per inch of rise. Where there is not room, a platform lift usually is the answer.
What slope does a ramp actually need?
Roughly twelve inches of run for every inch of rise, plus level landings at the top, the bottom, and every turn. A four-foot rise wants close to fifty feet of ramp, which is when a platform lift takes less room.
Modular or poured concrete?
Modular installs fast and comes back out. Poured concrete is permanent and can be finished to match the house. The right answer depends mostly on how long you need it.
Is a permit needed?
Sometimes, particularly for permanent ramps and for commercial work. We handle it, and we will tell you at the quote if one applies.
Do you fit automatic door openers?
Yes, residential and commercial. Where a door is too heavy to manage with a walker, a cane, or full hands, a powered operator often solves more than a ramp does.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
