About the Core Transport Wheelchair
For moving an adult patient or loved one, the Vive Core Transport Wheelchair is a folding steel transport wheelchair that arrives preassembled and ready to use out of the box.
The passenger gets a roomy 19-inch seat, supportive padded armrests, a breathable cushioned backrest and a quick-release safety belt. Footrests raise or lower to suit different leg lengths, set between 16 and 20 inches from the seat.
For the caregiver, the push handles are angled and covered with a textured grip to reduce hand and wrist strain. Wheel locks hold the chair in place for safer transfers in and out of the seat. The 8-inch wheels give stability on indoor surfaces and outdoor terrain alike.
Folding takes seconds: the chair folds flat, and the backrest and push handles fold down so it fits into most car trunks. It weighs 29.5 lbs, and the steel frame supports up to 250 pounds.

Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?

Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
