About the Core Power Wheelchair, 18 Inch, 265 lb
Pull the battery out to charge it, fold the frame to 14 in wide and lift it in the car. The Core Power Wheelchair is built for that kind of everyday handling, at 58 lb on a cross-braced steel frame.
Two motors drive the 12 in pneumatic rear wheels. Choose one of five speeds up to 3.7 mph on the joystick; range is 9 miles per charge, and the chair turns in less than 47.2 in. It sleeps after 20 minutes idle.
Seat width is about 18 in, and capacity 265 lb. Included are the footrest, charger, seat and backrest cushions, leg straps and manual. Keep the rear tires at about 30 psi.

Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
