About the Jazzy® Ultra Light
The Jazzy Ultra Light is Pride's folding travel power wheelchair built on an all-carbon fiber frame, and it weighs 33 pounds without the battery. Pride sized it to be durable enough for airport terminals and light enough to store in a car trunk.
It folds nearly flat in seconds and locks in place, so you know it is secure, then unfolds just as quickly when you are ready to go. It also fits Pride's Jazzy Travel Bag, which protects the chair on the road and lets you tow it along.
Choose a 10 Ah or 20 Ah lithium-ion battery. Pride lists the 10Ah battery as airline compliant, and air travel with it is subject to federal regulations and airline policy, so check with your airline before your flight. With the optional 20Ah battery, Pride rates the range at 16.4 miles at 200 lbs.; the chair carries up to 300 lbs.
Comfort comes from a mesh back and mesh seat with a cushion, plus front suspension for a smoother ride over varied terrain. The programmable joystick attaches to either armrest, rear lights come on when the chair is moving, and a mesh cup holder is standard. A headrest and an attendant control bracket handle are available as options.

Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
