About the Zoomi+ High Chair
The Smirthwaite Zoomi+ High Chair is a feeding chair for children and young adults who need extra postural support. Smirthwaite developed it with pediatric therapists as an upgrade on its standard Zoomi.
What sets it apart is what comes fitted: a low-back padded cover, supportive armrests, a quick-release tray, a secure 5-point harness, a flat padded seat and a slotted footrest with mobile skis. The skis make room-to-room moves simple, and the tray gives a stable surface for activities as well as meals.
As the user grows, the seat and footrest adjust for height and depth, and the age guide runs from 4 months to adult. It suits classroom, therapy and home settings. It is handcrafted in Devon, UK, and its wooden frame has antimicrobial properties that help keep surfaces hygienic for daycares, schools and therapy centers.
Smirthwaite lists a weight limit of 187.4 lb, and the chair is meant for indoor use on a flat, level surface. Custom Mobility ships it across the lower 48. Want to compare it with the standard Zoomi first? Call us and we will go through the differences with you.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
