About the Zoomi high chair
The Smirthwaite Zoomi high chair is a wooden special needs high chair designed to grow with your child from 4 months to young adulthood. Its simple, timeless design looks at home in a kitchen or a classroom.
Both the seat and the footrest adjust for height and depth, so the chair adapts as your child grows. In Smirthwaite's technical data the seat height from the floor runs from 400 to 650 mm in 25 mm steps, given as a recommended range. The footboard can also come off, leaving the option of feet flat on the floor.
The standard Zoomi includes a lap strap and stands on a stable base with a slimline footprint. It is easy to clean, and the wooden frame has antimicrobial properties that help keep surfaces hygienic in shared spaces such as schools and therapy centers. Smirthwaite handcrafts it at its headquarters in Devon, UK.
Need more support? Optional accessories for the Zoomi include mobile skis, pommels, armrests and transfer steps, and the Zoomi+ adds built-in features. The chair is for indoor use on a flat, level surface, with a maximum user weight of 187 lb. Custom Mobility ships it across the lower 48.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
