About the Raised Toilet Seat

The Vive Raised Toilet Seat sits on top of the bowl to make it easier to sit down on and stand up from the toilet. It fits both standard and elongated toilets.

Two padded handrails slide into slots on the sides and lock in place for added support. There are 17 inches of space between them, and they come out with a push pin when you do not need them.

Installation needs no tools or hardware: set the seat on the toilet with the lip in the back under the bowl, then hand tighten the front knob counter-clockwise until it is secure. In most toilets the existing seat and lid can stay where they are, though the lid will not close over the raised seat.

At about 5 pounds, it is light enough to take along when you travel, and it wipes clean with a standard bathroom cleaner. The seat holds up to 250 pounds and is made of firm plastic, not padded.
