The extender sits between the mattress and the footboard and fills the space there. Proactive designed it to accommodate taller patients, and optional buckles fasten it to the head and footboard.

A vinyl cover makes cleaning easy, and the piece meets fire rating CA 117. Need something else? Custom sizes are available. Proactive gives a 1 year non-prorated warranty.
