About the Proactive Basic Magnet Alarm
No pressure pad here. Proactive built this Basic Magnet Alarm around a clip and cord that fasten to what a resident is wearing, with the monitor itself fixed to a bed or chair.
How does it trigger? Movement past a preset distance pulls magnet away from monitor; that broken magnetic seal sets off the sound. Proactive calls its pull-switch multi-directional. Cord length can be adjusted, and staff never need to remember to switch it on, since it always sits in the on position.
Practically all wheelchairs or beds accept its mounting bracket. Power: a single 9V battery, supplied. Lost the magnet? Spares are available. Warranty: 1 year.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
