About the Proactive Advanced Chair/Bed Alarm
Chair, bed or floor: with the matching pad, this one monitor covers all three. Proactive's Advanced Chair/Bed Alarm takes most makers' chair and bed sensor pads, plus buckle and hook-and-loop seatbelt sensors, and a switch on the control turns it into a floor sensor monitor.
When weight leaves the pad, it alarms. When pressure comes back, it resets automatically. Flashing lights on top show slow green while armed and fast red while alarming. Pick from different tones, low or high volume, and a 2 second delay option that Proactive says helps reduce false alarms.
For facility staff: a hidden dual button reset, a screw that locks the control panel, a low battery alert, strain protection for sensor pad cords, a rubber case, and both a bracket and a detachable strap for mounting. It is always in the on position. This version has no nurse call port. One 9V battery included; 1 year warranty.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
