About the Pride Jazzy Carbon 27 Power Wheelchair
With a carbon fiber frame and a weight of approximately 27.8 lbs. without the battery, the Pride Jazzy Carbon 27 is a portable power wheelchair designed for reliable performance on the go. It folds and unfolds in a matter of seconds, and a strap secures it once folded. Folded, it measures 27.5" L x 23.4" W x 13.38" H.
The controller is a quick-disconnect LCD joystick with a digital display, a USB-C port and a puddle light, and it mounts on either armrest, whichever you prefer. The carbon fiber arms flip up.
Comfort features include a breathable mesh back, a 17 x 17" cushion and front suspension. A mesh cup holder, an adjustable lap belt and an under-seat storage bag come with it, and Pride offers a headrest, an attendant control kit and the Jazzy travel bag as options.
Power comes from a 12 Ah lithium battery that Pride describes as airline-compliant. Pride also notes that flying with it is subject to federal regulations and airline policy, so confirm with your airline before the trip. The chair carries up to 300 lbs., reaches up to 3.7 mph and goes up to 9.3 miles on a charge.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
