About the Jazzy® Carbon
Pride designed the Jazzy Carbon as a folding power chair for travel, with a carbon fiber frame and a lithium-ion battery. Without the battery it weighs 39 pounds, yet it still carries up to 300 pounds and reaches up to 3.7 mph.
It folds down in a few quick motions, which makes it easier to take along in cars, on planes and on trains. Folded, it measures 28.3" x 12.2" x 24". Pride describes the lithium battery as airline compliant, and notes that taking it on a commercial flight is subject to federal regulations and airline policy, so check with your airline before you fly.
Front suspension smooths the ride, and the padded seat back has a storage pocket behind a soft, removable seat cushion. The joystick comes off for transport and has a built-in USB charger. The freewheel levers disengage the brake so the chair can be pushed like a manual wheelchair.
Under-seat storage and an adjustable lap belt are included, and Pride's optional Jazzy Travel Bag Kit lets you tow the chair behind you like luggage. Custom Mobility ships the Jazzy Carbon across the lower 48.

Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
