About the Grip Strength Tester
Coaches, climbers and anyone tracking hand strength can use a dynamometer to put a number on grip. Vive's Precision tester reads up to 198 pounds through a strain gauge sensor.
Save up to 19 profiles, each with gender and age; the unit remembers the last test for each one and shows an increase or decrease. Readings appear in pounds or kilograms, with range indicators. The handle adjusts with a knob, since a correct fit gives a more accurate reading. The body is aluminum alloy and composite, 0.76 pounds, powered by two AAA batteries that come in the box. Wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
