About the Golden Stride Folding Power Wheelchair
Foldable and portable, the Golden Stride power wheelchair is lightweight, with an aluminum frame, and stows easily in the trunk of a car.
Front and back comfort spring suspension add to a smooth ride, and Golden describes a sporty design for navigating indoors and out while sightseeing, shopping or dining. The rear tires are 12 inches and the casters 8 inches, both flat-free and non-marking.
The seat is two-tone gray and black, with a removable cushion and a tall back for long-lasting comfort on the go. It is a sling-back seat, 17 by 18 inches.
Power comes from a 10AH 24V lithium-ion battery that weighs 3.8 lbs. Golden rates the range at 9.3 miles and the top speed at 3.7 mph, and the weight capacity is 300 lbs. It also has freewheel mode and electronic speed control. Plan on some room to turn: the turning radius is 47.2 inches.
