About the Go Chair® MED *FDA Class II Medical Device
The Pride Go Chair MED is a portable power wheelchair designed specifically for use inside the home and for other everyday activities, and it packs up when you want to take it along.
Disassembly takes a few easy steps. Remove the seat, then the battery, and pull the feather-touch disassembly lever to disconnect the rear wheels from the front. That leaves four easy-to-stow components, the heaviest weighing just 36 pounds.
Pride describes the Go Chair MED as optimized for both indoor and outdoor use. A compact 25.5-inch turning radius helps you get around at home, and the intuitive controller is easy to operate. Two-motor, rear-wheel drive and powerful electronics give a riding range of up to 9.41 miles per charge, at speeds up to 3.7 mph, with regenerative and electromechanical braking.
The compact, foldable black vinyl seat is a 5-point swivel seat with latch release, available in 18 x 17 or 20 x 18 inches, with a 60-inch lap belt. A large footplate adds comfort, and the chair supports up to 300 lbs.
Custom Mobility ships it across the lower 48.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
