About the Folding Commode
The Vive Folding Commode is a freestanding bedside commode that works at the bedside or placed directly over most standard and elongated toilets as a safety rail. Vive suggests it for seniors, post-surgery recovery and anyone with limited mobility.
The corrosion-resistant steel frame supports up to 350 pounds, with padded handrails on both sides and non-slip leg caps for stability on any surface. The handrails adjust from 24 to 30 inches in height, and the arm rails are 18 inches apart.
The 7.5-quart pail comes with a cover, splashguard and carrying handle, and the commode works with standard commode liners if you prefer them. A traditional toilet seat and lid are included as well. Cleaning is a matter of wiping the whole commode down with a disinfectant solution.
For a trip, take out the pail and the frame folds flat without tools, making it just as useful away from home as in the bedroom. Assembly needs no special tools either.
Custom Mobility ships the Folding Commode across the lower 48. Deciding between a commode and a toilet safety rail? Give us a call first.

Common questions
Can you help make bathing safe?
Yes. Shower benches and chairs for someone who can transfer, and shower trolleys or stretchers where lying down is the only safe option, along with grab bars and barrier-free access.
Can you install grab bars in a tiled bathroom?
Yes. The bar is the easy part; finding something solid behind the tile is the work. A bar fixed into plaster holds until the moment somebody needs it.
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
