About the Buzzaround LX 4-Wheel
LX stands for Luxury in Golden's naming: the Buzzaround LX (Luxury) 4-Wheel is a full-size scooter offering comfort and the convenience of true portability.
Start with the lights. The GB149 has an LED lighting package with a V-shaped running light on the front, designed for safety and visibility. One switch operates all the lights, and Golden notes that LED lights draw less on the battery.
The quilted high back seat folds and has armrests. The tiller adjusts infinitely with an EZ reach lever, there is ample foot room, and a USB charging port sits alongside a cell phone holder. Comfort spring suspension smooths the ride.
It is rated for 375 lbs. and runs up to 18 miles on two U1 batteries, at a top speed of 5 mph. Disassembly is straightforward: the front half is 57 lbs, the rear half 36 lbs and the seat 32 lbs, with each battery pack at 24 lbs. Need the controls on the left? Golden builds a left-hand configuration when it is specified at the time of order.
