About the Brookfield Chair

A uniquely molded backrest and contoured seat come as standard, shaped to encourage good pelvic and trunk positioning. Seat height, seat depth and backrest height all adjust, so the chair adapts as a child grows. Height-adjustable armrests and a buckle pelvic strap are standard too.

Beyond the standard build, the Brookfield works with a wide range of accessories, from footrests and harnesses to mobile bases, to build support around individual postural requirements. Smirthwaite also offers it on an electric hi-lo base for push-button height changes. The chair is delivered fully assembled, apart from fitting any special accessories ordered.

The Brookfield is part of Smirthwaite's Plus range, and with size 5 it now supports users from early childhood all the way into adulthood. Maximum user weight runs from 121 lb on size 1 to 331 lb on size 5.

Delivered with a lift gate. Orders that include Smirthwaite products carry a $175 lift-gate charge, added at checkout. It is a lift-gate charge, not a shipping cost, and it applies whatever the order total. Ships within the lower 48 (the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC).

Will it fit in my car?

Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.

Do you ship outside Georgia?

Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.

Do you service what you sell?

Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.

Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
