Wheelchair seats are often thin. Adding a foam cushion is the simplest way to change that, and Vive's standard cushion is sized for the common 18 by 16 inch seat.

About the Wheelchair Cushion
Wheelchair seats are often thin. Adding a foam cushion is the simplest way to change that, and Vive's standard cushion is sized for the common 18 by 16 inch seat.
Choose a thickness of 2 inches or 3 inches. Inside is PU foam only, with no gel; outside is a removable polyester cover in black. A strap with adjustable tightness goes around the seat so the cushion stays in place when you sit down or stand up. It is very light, under one pound in either size, rated to 250 lbs and latex-free. Clean it by wiping with a damp cloth.

Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
