About the Walker Wheels and Glides
Replacing worn walker wheels, or adding wheels for the first time, is straightforward with this kit. Vive packs everything for one walker: two front wheels with legs, two back glides and two felt glide covers.
Wheels are rubber, five inches, non-swivel and non-marking, so they are safe on tile and hardwood indoors as well as on pavement. The legs are lightweight aluminum, 1 inch in diameter, and adjust in height. The curved plastic glides slide into the rear legs and adjust for a secure fit, and the covers go over them indoors. Total length with the wheel is 15 inches; installation needs no special tools.

Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
