About the Walker Ski Glides Heavy Duty
Gravel paths, asphalt lots and thick carpet are hard going for ordinary walker glides. Vive's Heavy Duty Ski Glides have a wider, reinforced base, so they sit more steadily and move with less friction.
They slide straight onto the walker legs with no tools, fitting standard walkers with tubing from 1 to 1 1/8 inches in diameter. Made from plastic and rubber in gray, each glide measures 3.25 by 1.75 by 2 inches. The pair weighs 0.17 lbs per Vive's listing. Clean them with mild dish soap and warm water, then towel dry.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
