About the Walker Ski Glides and Covers Heavy Duty
Use the bare glides on the sidewalk and add the covers when you come inside. That is the idea behind this heavy-duty set from Vive, which includes both.
Each glide is plastic and rubber, 3.25 by 1.75 by 2 inches, with a reinforced base that is larger than standard glides. They slide onto standard walker tubing from 1 to 1 1/8 inches in diameter, no tools required. The covers measure 3.75 by 2.5 inches and help protect wood and tile from scuffs. To clean, take both off and wash them with mild dish soap in warm water, then towel dry.

Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
