About the Study Desk

A spacious compartment beneath the desktop keeps books, tools and toys organized. The desktop can be used flat or at an angle, with a selection of preset angle settings. When angled, Smirthwaite's instructions put the work surface between 10 and 20 degrees. Height is set at the leg outriggers using the hexagonal key supplied.

Size 1 adjusts from 13.6 to 20.5 in high with a 17.7 in wide, 23.6 in deep top; size 2 adjusts from 20.5 to 32.3 in with a 21.7 in wide, 29.5 in deep top. Both sizes are listed with a 176 lb maximum weight and a product weight of 42 lb. The desk is delivered assembled and ready to use, in a sturdy wooden finish made for daily classroom and home use.

Delivered with a lift gate. Orders that include Smirthwaite products carry a $175 lift-gate charge, added at checkout. It is a lift-gate charge, not a shipping cost, and it applies whatever the order total. Ships within the lower 48 (the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC).

Will it fit in my car?

Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.

Do you ship outside Georgia?

Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.

Do you service what you sell?

Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.

Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
