About the Protekt Ultra Bariatric Cushion
Wide chairs from 22 in to 30 in can take the Protekt Ultra Bariatric, which carries 500 lbs. Its large radius base works on sling or flat seats.
Proactive layers the foam: two high resilient foam layers, a gel bladder with two compartments, and gel infused visco memory foam on top. Soft foam allows the pelvis to settle, and side supports and trochanter cut outs help hold position.
Each size is 3 in thick. The stretch nylon cover breathes and resists fluids, and buckles keep it in place. The warranty runs 18 months.
