About the Protekt Foam Coccyx Cushion
Look at the back edge of this cushion and you will see the difference: a coccyx cut-out. Around it, Protekt uses high density, high resilient polyurethane foam.
Width decides the rating. Cushions 16, 18 or 20 in wide carry 250 lbs, and the bariatric widths from 22 to 30 in carry more than 500 lbs. Most widths come 3 or 4 in thick, and the narrower ones also in 2 in.
On top is a stretch nylon cover that breathes and resists fluids. Buckles hold it to the seat. Proactive covers it for 1 year.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
