Need a bariatric air mattress with raised sides? On the Protekt Aire 8600AB, air bolsters run around the side perimeter, with a center cut-out where a person can sit and move in or out of bed.

It handles up to 750 lbs. and is offered 42 or 48 in wide. The 18 liter per minute pump combines low air loss with alternating pressure on cycles of 10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes, and seat inflate sends 20% more air to the middle when the bed is raised. Static mode, a low pressure alarm, a CPR pull tab and a lock out key are built in.

There are 18 laser air holes and a pillow top at the head, and the stretch nylon cover is fluid resistant.
