What sets the Protekt Aire 6450 apart is underneath: a 3 in densified fiber base below the 5 in air mattress, there as a support base in case of power failure.

Everything else comes from the deluxe 6000 digital pump. It combines low air loss with alternating pressure, cycles every 10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes, and offers seat-inflate, max firm and static modes. Three audible and visual alarms watch for low pressure, power failure and alternating failure.

The mattress measures 36 x 80 x 8 in and holds 450 lbs. Its quilted nylon cover is fluid resistant, with 18 laser holes and a pillow top at the head. Foam raised rails are optional.
