About the Protekt Aire 6000AB Low Air Loss Alternating Pressure Mattress System with Side Air Bolsters
Air bolsters rise along both sides of the Protekt Aire 6000AB, giving the mattress a raised edge, while a cut-out at the center lets a person get in and out of bed.
The mattress is cell-on-cell: a one way valve holds air in the lower 4 in of the cells during a power failure. The deluxe digital pump runs low air loss and alternating pressure, alternates every 10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes, and adds seat-inflate, max firm and static modes. Three alarms, audible and visual, report low pressure, power failure and alternating failure.
A stretch nylon cover, fluid resistant and vapor permeable, sits over 18 laser holes. Capacity is 450 lbs.; size is 36 x 80 x 8/11 in.
