About the Protekt Aire 6000 Low Air Loss Alternating Pressure Mattress System
Four cycle times, three alarms and a mattress that keeps air in its lower cells if the power goes out: that is the short version of the Protekt Aire 6000.
The pump runs low air loss and alternating pressure together, with alternating cycles of 10, 15, 20 or 25 minutes picked on an LED touch panel. Max firm mode inflates quickly, static mode firms the surface for transfers and edge sitting, and seat-inflate is there for the fowler position. The cell-on-cell mattress uses a one way valve to hold air in the lower 4 in of each cell.
On top is a quilted, fluid resistant nylon cover with 18 laser holes and a pillow top head section. The system holds up to 450 lbs. and comes in 36 x 80 or 36 x 84 in, plain or with foam raised rails.
