About the Proactive Sit-to-Stand Sling

Sizes run from Medium to XX-Large, with one weight capacity across the range: Proactive rates each of these sit-to-stand slings at 600 lb in its product table.

The fabric is solid nylon. Proactive makes all of its slings from polyester or nylon so they can go into wet or dry environments, in long-term care and homecare settings. Each sling carries its own washing label; the maker's limit is 185° F, with air-drying or a low dryer setting afterward.

Will it fit in my car?

Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.

Do you ship outside Georgia?

Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.

Do you service what you sell?

Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.

Will you service equipment somebody else installed?

Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.

Can I just come to the showroom?

Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
