About the Large Lift Chair

The recline is motorized too and stops at any position, out to a fully reclined length of 63 inches. Vive notes it is gently angled rather than completely flat at full recline. All controls are on one handheld remote, which tucks into a side pocket.

The seat is 20.5 inches wide and 21 inches deep, the chair measures 28 inches across the outside of the armrests, and it supports up to 350 pounds. It is upholstered in an easy-care dark brown polyester-nylon blend.

Before it arrives, plan the spot. The chair needs to sit at least 20 inches from any wall and plugs into a standard 110V wall outlet. The base and backrest come pre-assembled for tool-free setup, and because of the lifting mechanism the chair does not swivel or rock. Vive advises against this chair for anyone with a pacemaker, as magnetic interference could occur.
