About the Go Go® Ultra X 3-wheel

The Go Go Ultra X 3-Wheel belongs to Pride's Go Go Travel Mobility line, and it is what Pride itself calls an economy 3-wheel mobility scooter. Here is what that gets you.

Pride's feather-touch disassembly lets the scooter come apart into five easy-to-stow pieces, and the heaviest component is just 29.5 pounds. That matters on every trip, because someone has to lift those pieces into a trunk. The battery pack is a drop-in battery box.

A 24-volt DC motor gives top speeds up to 4.3 mph. Pride lists a range of up to 8 miles at 200 lbs. and up to 6.2 miles at 300 lbs., the weight capacity. With three wheels, the turning radius is 36.5 inches.

The seat is Pride's new compact foldable design, 17 by 17 inches. The tiller has an adjustment knob and a charging port right below the controls, and the dual voltage charger lets you charge the battery pack on-board or off-board. A standard front basket and Pride's black, non-scuffing tires finish the package.

If a 3-wheel travel scooter suits the way you get around, this one is worth a close look. Custom Mobility ships it across the lower 48.

Common questions

Can I try equipment before buying?

Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.

Will it fit in my car?

Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.

Do you ship outside Georgia?

Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.

Do you service what you sell?

Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.

Will you service equipment somebody else installed?

Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.

Can I just come to the showroom?

Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
