About the Companion HD 3-Wheel
The Golden Companion Heavy-Duty 3-wheel scooter combines a modern design with high performance features, at a weight capacity of 500 lbs.
Its construction is built for stability and maneuverability with front anti-tip wheels and a 51" turning radius. It rides on solid, non-marking tires, 10.75" with alloy wheels, and rear suspension smooths the ride. A 120 Amp controller gives it climbing ability.
The operating range is 16 miles on 2-NF22 batteries, with a maximum speed of 6 mph, and an 8 Amp super charger handles charging. A fully integrated LCD console monitors fault codes and battery energy level, and LED lighting includes front headlights, rear taillights and flashers.
The extra wide high back seat swivels for easy access and measures 22" x 20"; a 6" power elevating seat with lockout is available. The tiller is infinite position, a USB charging port is mounted on it, and a large front basket carries your things. Shrouds come in Galactic Gray, Azure Blue or Crimson Red.
Custom Mobility ships the Companion HD across the lower 48.

Common questions
Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
