About the Buzzaround EX 3-Wheel
The Golden Buzzaround EX 3-Wheel is a mobility scooter, and Golden says it features the portability and easy disassembly of a lightweight scooter with the benefits of a full-size scooter.
On the 3-wheel frame, the turning radius is 40.5". When it is time to load up, the scooter comes apart: the front half weighs 46 lbs, the rear half 36 lbs and the seat 23 lbs, and each battery pack is 24 lbs. The heaviest piece is 46 lbs.
Two U1 batteries give an operating range of up to 18 miles per charge, at up to 5 mph. It carries up to 350 lbs. Comfort spring suspension smooths the ride, there is 4" of ground clearance, an ultrabright LED headlight and taillight light the way, and a cell phone holder keeps your phone where you can see it.
The standard seat is an 18" x 16" high back; a 20" x 18" stadium-style seat is the option. Red and blue are the standard colors, with gray, yellow and white shroud kits available. If you need left-hand controls, Golden needs that specified at the time of order.

Can I try equipment before buying?
Yes. Come to the showroom in Athens or ask for an in-home evaluation.
Will it fit in my car?
Ask this at the start rather than after delivery. Folding and travel models go in a trunk. A full-size chair needs a vehicle lift or a conversion, and we do those too.
Do you ship outside Georgia?
Yes. Products ship across the lower 48. Installation and service are Georgia.
Do you service what you sell?
Yes, with our own technicians. The person who comes back is from the same company as the person who installed it.
Will you service equipment somebody else installed?
Often, depending on the platform and whether we hold the relationship with that manufacturer. Tell us what you have.
Can I just come to the showroom?
Walk-ins are welcome in Athens, at 315 Whitehead Road. Appointments are better, because it means the right person is there when you arrive.
